the menu program is an alternative UI/shell that allows the user to run programs or edit the system configuration without using commands.

as the name suggests, it uses a menu-style system to operate the computer, command line is still an option of course.

While it does not add any functionality to the system, it is light weight and easy to use for starting users who don't know the commands.
