This program handles network requests and distributes network information (such as the ID of the AUTH server) to the clients. this is used to automatically configure network settings and required for any of minux's network capabilities.

It also handles dns-like requests allowing networked programs to use name based identification of systems and do lookups.

it is required to set up a DHCP server for auth to function, see the installation instructions for more information.
